Personal:
Kam Joined our team in 2021 from another Triad-based financial firm where she served on the leadership team. Aside from her professional leadership experience, she is a born leader as the oldest of 5 siblings. Kam spent her childhood in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, with her mother and grandparents ‘Memaw and Papaw.’ She became passionate about financial planning through a close relationship with her grandparents and witnessing their financial path to and through retirement. Kam strives to provide clients with the comfortable planning experience she wishes her grandparents had received.
Kam spends most of her free time collecting and caring for her houseplant collection, cheering on the NY Yankees, and scoping out the best local brunch spots in the triad. You may see her sweet miniature dachshund Chloe when visiting our office, but certainly not her mischievous cat Alfie who enjoys knocking down houseplants, and wreaking havoc.
Community:
As an Active member of the Winston-Salem and Greensboro Communities, Kam volunteers with the Down Syndrome Association of Winston Salem, relay for Life, and has also become an active member of SynerG young professionals.
Education:
A proud member of the pack, Kam graduated from NC State with a bachelor’s degree in History. She also conducted educational psychology research & trained middle school teachers in student motivation and co-authored an American Educational Research Association award-winning study.
